Island Life Essentials is proud to feature products from skilled artisans and reputable brands. We aim for complete satisfaction and hope that you are happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, please refer to our Return/Refund Policy.
All products come with a 7 Day Return Policy, which means you have 7 days after you receive your order to submit a request for return. If 7 days have passed since you received your order, unfortunately we cannot process your return or offer you a refund.
Before returning an item for a refund, please keep in mind that our handmade products may exhibit slight irregularities, or differences in color and craftsmanship. These characteristics should not be viewed as flaws, but rather as qualities that enhance the beauty and uniqueness of each product.

Return & Refund Process
To initiate a return please provide us with the following:
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your order number
- The product name of the item you are returning
- Photos of any damaged or incorrect item received (if applicable)
- A valid reason for your return
Please DO NOT return your item directly to the address on your received package.
Any item returned without first requesting a ‘Return Merchandise Authorization Number’ from us will not be accepted. If your return is accepted, we will provide you with a ‘Return Merchandise Authorization Number’ and instructions on how to send your package back to the appropriate return address.
Your return shipping must be initiated within 7 days after the 'Return Merchandise Authorization Number' has been issued to you.
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will email you, notifying you that we have received your returned items. If your return is approved, a full refund (if applicable) will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method. Please remember that it can take between 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card company to process and post your refund. If you have not received a refund yet, please check your bank account again and contact your bank or credit card company. If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Eligibility for Return
To be eligible for and ensure a successful return and refund, your item must be in the same original new condition that you received it, with all tags attached, the original packing slip for return, in its original packaging, with all its components, and any complimentary items that we included with your purchase.
Any item not in its original new condition, with its tags removed, showing damage, signs of wear, stains, washing, improper care, or any missing components, will not qualify for a refund.
Returns Due to Change of Mind
We will accept your return due to a change of mind, but you will be responsible for paying return shipping costs. Return shipping costs are non-refundable. A restocking fee of $5.00 may also apply.
In order to qualify for a refund, you must return the item and provide a tracking number. Please note we do not issue refunds for lost or damaged packages during the return process. We suggest all returns be sent with a traceable carrier such as USPS, FedEx, or UPS, providing a tracking number. Shipping insurance is also recommended. If you believe your package has been lost or damaged during the return process, it is your responsibility to file the claims with USPS, FedEx, or UPS, and file a police report if necessary.
Exchanges
We do not offer item exchanges if you have changed your mind for any reason.
We suggest returning the unwanted item, and once your return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Exchanges are available for any defective or incorrect item received by you.
Incorrect Order Received
Please thoroughly inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately within 24 hours if you received an incorrect order.
Please keep any enclosed packing slips and shipping courier documentation in case we require you to provide photo evidence.
We also require that you provide us with photo evidence to document the incorrect item received.
If your claim is approved, we will replace or refund your order.
You must report the issue immediately within 24 hours upon receiving your order; otherwise, you agree that your order is deemed delivered and in satisfactory condition.
Order Received Defective/Missing Item

Late/Missing/Damaged Packages
We will not issue refunds or exchanges for errors made by the shipping carrier, such as late, missing, or damaged packages.
Please check your shipping carrier tracking number status update.
Please contact the shipping carrier if you did not receive your package within the estimated time frame, if you suspect your package has gone missing, or if your package was received damaged.
Submit a claim to the shipping carrier to investigate the issue and verify whether your package can be located, has gone missing, or was received damaged.
If your package was delivered based on shipping carrier tracking number status update, but you claim you did not receive your order, then please contact the shipping carrier and inquire if the delivery person left any additional details. Sometimes, it is found that the delivery was made but left in an unexpected location at your address.
Incorrect Address/Undeliverable/Unclaimed/Refused Packages
Refunds or exchanges will not be issued based on an incorrect shipping address provided by you resulting in your package being received at an incorrect address, package returned to sender, package undeliverable, unclaimed, or refused.
If you wish to have your package redirected to the correct address, please contact the shipping carrier, or reach out to us. Additional shipping fees may apply and will be your responsibility.
